My last semester at Macalester finished earlier in December and I have about a month (less now) until I start at Brown. I’m excited to finally have some time to work on side projects since I was so diligent about studying working on side projects during the semester.
(This post is in response to one by Ben. We’ve agreed that if one of us writes a blog post, the other has to publish one of a similar length and quality within a week or so. It doesn’t have to be on the same topic, this one just happens to be.)
In no particular order, I’d like to work on:
- Designing a website for my mother as a Christmas gift
- Redesigning my father’s website and migrating it to Keystatic
- Govcentives, a SaaSified version of a client project I’m building with Ben
- Bruno, a refined version of 75grand for Brown students
- Moving Summit to Keystatic so Catherine can continue publishing
I also have some non-software goals, such as working my way through Brown’s required “First Reading” and the various books I received for Christmas—I’m particularly excited about Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs.
